This scene was sad enough what with the hand holding and the national guard officer being Enjolras’ FRIEND and his mom and Grantaire’s sister being two of the women in Turning and y’know the whole THEY DIE AND THE REVOLUTION FAILS BIT and you go and make this SADDER?! One day we’ll be in a Marvel movie, sitting there as something doesn’t feel right. and as the credits start to roll we’ll know what it is. It will flash up on screen and our hearts will break. “In loving memory of Stan Lee”. There was no cameo in that movie. And there never will be again.

A police officer was killed this week here in Arizona. Today is his daughter’s kindergarten graduation, and because he couldn’t be there, the rest of the force showed up to represent him.
